MEMAR Is A Data Powerhouse
4/17/2010 12:40:19 AM
Go Live In Less Than 20 Minutes!
The most traumatic thing a skilled nursing facility goes through besides changing pharmacies, is changing how the pharmacy operates. Embattled with paper, skilled nursing facilites could use a break in the paper shuffle that is inherent in the long term care profession. Pharmacy Partners of GA (Kennesaw, GA) is a pharmacy that is helping change the face of how the pharmacy operates. The changeover from paper to electronic is being made a little easier from PPGA with the help of MEMAR. In pre-launch quality assurance testing, data integration between MEMAR and PPGA's pharmacy software (Frameworks LTC) proved extremely efficient. In less than 20 minutes a 100 bed skilled nursing facility was readied with all the patient demographic data the pharmacy had on file, plus over 1,640 orders for those residents. This bi-directional data integration is what helps MEMAR prove it's worth as a data power house. Couple that functionality with the ability to manage 18 different categories of physician orders and you have a powerful system that produces "real-time" MARs, TARs, POFs, TOFs, plus other management reporting. MEMAR is here to stay and is changing the way the pharmacy communicates with the skilled nursing facility. Internet or no internet MEMAR also let's the nursing staff continue their MED PASS without a hitch. To learn more call us today!
