Medeasy architects and deploys medical software tailored to long term care facilities. Formed in 1995, Medeasy has supported the healthcare industry by providing software development and consulting services for the past fifteen years. Our software products have assisted Skilled Nursing Facilities with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation, Trust Fund Management, Medication Administration Reports, and other software vital in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).

Andrew J. Morris, President and CEO

, has been involved in the residential long term care profession for over 31 years. Having been associated with Huntington Convalescent Home, Cross Roads Nursing Center, Jemco Services, Inc, Older American Care Corporation, IHS at Briarcliff Haven Subacute and Rehab, Capital Care Mgt. Company and Reliable Health Care Mgt. he has gained invaluable experience. His duties have included the following roles: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with full responsibility, Medicare Director for a chain of 75 skilled nursing facilities in the southeast responsible for the training, billing and A/R for these facilities; Owner of Medeasy SNF Software, Inc. a software company that develops various software applications designed specifically for skilled nursing facilities and is marketed to SNFs, Previous Owner and CEO/President of a company that currently operates and manages 8 SNFs in north GA, and Previous Owner and CEO/President of a Rehabilitation company that provides therapy and rehabilitation services to SNFs. July 1st 2009 Mr. Morris turned both of these companies into an E.S.O.P for the 750+ staff members of the combined companies. Andrew J. Morris presents a blend of education and training revolving around health care. While attending pharmacy school and having always been interested in the health care industry, he enrolled in an Administrator Internship program for Nursing Home Administrators (1976-1977). After completion he went on to pass the state board exams to receive his license as a GA Nursing Home Administrator. Andrew has also has been licensed in the states of Tennessee and Texas. Serving skilled nursing facilities for over 31 years in varying capacities Andrew has become an expert in Medicare & Medicaid rules and regulations regarding SNFs. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the GA Health Care Association and is Past President of the North West Council for this Association. The company that owns and operates SNFs and rehabilitation both remain profitable and are in excellent regulatory compliance. As a leader in the long term care profession he is highly qualified to successfully guide Medeasy into future.

Charlie Hehn, COO

, has the vision to keep Medeasy moving in a forward direction. Charlie enjoys 22+ years of business management and sales experience devoted to improving a company’s operational excellence in the foodservice, petroleum, service, construction industries, long term care and real estate professions. Success stories include transitioning companies’ manual information systems and job functions to automated systems designed to streamline administrative functions and improving customer service. His understanding of the demands placed on long term care staff prompted his development of software that is used for risk management plus the development of specialized applications for long term care facilities.

Andrew Taylor, VP Software Engineering

, has been writing software since the age of 8. With this vast amount of real world software development experience he brings a significant amount of knowledge to Medeasy. Leading our development team Andrew is not just limited to programming a single language or working on a single type of software. He continuously pushes the envelope of what a programmer is capable of. He has designed, developed, and built one of the most advanced hosting systems available today. As an architect that understands the software and infrastructure relationship of software deployment, his charge is to help make Medeasy’s products intuitive and easy to deploy.

Bart Miller, Chief Financial Officer

, has a extensive experience in the financial sector of the long term care profession. His experience as a financial expert has been gained over 19 years being associated with Reliable Health Care Management, Peach Health Care Systems, HCR Manor Care, HealthPrime Inc., Capital Care Mgt., IHS at Briarcliff Haven Subacute and Rehab, and Mutual of Omaha. He is well versed in financial issues of SNFs. His duties have included: Senior Field Auditor, President, Medicare Consultant, Controller and Sr. Reimbursement Analyst. He has had the responsibility of producing cost reports for over 160 SNFs in his career. 

Janice M. Morris, Director of MDS Documentation

, presents a blend of education and training revolving around health care also. As a licensed nurse and Nursing Home Administrator she has worked in SNFs for over 21 years. During this time she has worked with two large corporations; Sun Health Care located in Albuquerque, NM and Five Star Quality Care located in Boston, MA as their National Medicare Helpsource & Director of MDS. Currently she serves as Reliable Health Care’s corporate MDS Coordinator/Trainer and as our in house Medicare Consultant for all of Reliable’s SNFs. The MDS is the clinical tool used by SNFs to determine the resources needed by each resident which determines the reimbursement rate for Medicare and Medicaid residents.

Carla Pence, AR Specialist

enjoys 17 years of experience in long term care with financial services. She is experienced in many levels of financial services ranging from bookkeeper to regional director of reimbursement. Proficient in navigating the waters of Medicare and Medicaid she acts as a consultant, corporate trainer and mentor to bookkeepers in the long term care industry.

Angelena M. Hehn, RN, BSN, Director of Clinical Services

is a baccalaureate degreed nurse with experience in cardiac care and intensive care units in the hospital setting, home health care as both field nurse and management nurse and has experience in every nursing function in a SNF. Her experience in SNFs is extensive as C.N.A., charge nurse, treatment nurse, MDS coordinator, ADON, Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator. Being well-rounded and experienced in nursing and the operations side of a SNF she is well suited to guide the nursing team with regulatory and policy compliance plus clinical excellence. She also has co-developed software that is used as a risk management tool in long term care facilities.
